Homemade Guitar Hero Birthday Cake
I made this Guitar Hero Birthday Cake for my husband's surprise 30th birthday party. The base of the guitar was shaped/cut out of a 10x15 cake pan - using two cake mixes. The guitar handle was made from rice krispie treats. I used the actual guitar hero guitar as a guide to decorating.
Everything was decorated with buttercream icing, except for the Guitar Hero "logo". I printed this out off the computer and cut it out and used wax paper to lay between it and the cake so the icing and everything would seep through the paper.
