Homemade Halloween Graveyard Cake
I baked this Homemade Halloween Graveyard Cake with a Graveyard theme for a Halloween Party. For the icing, I used homemade buttercream icing tinted dark blue for the sky part, then dark green (achieved by adding some black and green Wilton icing color for the actual grass part).
I used my homemade marshmallow fondant and cut out the moon, then I cut out the witch and cat using my own sketch to go by. For the spooky tree, I tinted buttercream with Wilton black icing gel (you have to use the whole jar in order to achieve the dark black color). I piped out the tree, fence, cemetery gate and spiderweb.
I made the spider, bats, pumpkins, coffin, hand, skeleton and pumpkin vine from marshmallow fondant, using orange and green Wilton icing gel. I finished the cake by piping the boarder with the remainder of the black icing using a star tip.
