Coolest Hamburger And Fries Birthday Cake

I made this Hamburger And Fries Birthday Cake for my son’s first Birthday. We were having a “Diner” theme and made burgers and root beer floats.

The “Bun” is a round cake for bottom, and I baked the top in a bowl to give the rounded look. The “hamburger patty” is a brownie. I then used melted starburst I flattened out as “cheese”, candied fruit for tomatoes, and fruit strips for lettuce. I wanted to use green fruit roll ups but couldn’t find them. Then just used icing for ketchup and mustard.

I sprinkled with sesame seeds (you can’t taste them at all) and it looked great. I iced the top and bottom but left brownie plain. My icing I made root beer flavored because of the theme and the mix of flavors was great !

For the fries I made a pound cake then sliced it into fry shapes then baked the slices so they became crispy and more icing for ketchup and mustard. It was fun and really easy!
