Homemade Hanna Montana Birthday Cake
I made this Hanna Montana birthday cake for my friend's 8 year old daughter.
I traced a real child-size guitar to get my pattern. I made a chocolate 13" x 9" cake and a yellow 13" X 9" cake and put them together end to end. The yellow cake formed the neck of the guitar with the chocolate forming the rest.
I then placed my cut-out on top of both cakes and cut it out. I used buttercream frosting, tinted different colors, to decorate it. I cut out a Hanna Montana picture and a few words from a foil poster and put them on the cake, making stars around them to hold them in place. I also put Hanna Montana on the foil at the neck and surrounded it with stars as well.
The cake was a hit: she loved it so much that she stuck her fingers in it and began eating it with her hands!
