Homemade Hannah Montana Guitar Cake
This was one of my daughter's cakes. Hannah Montana theme, as best I could. LOL.
The guitar is boxed mix red velvet cake, and I used canned cream cheese frosting. I used the Wilton guitar shaped pan for this one. I marbled purple and white marshmallow fondant to cover it, made other decorations out of fondant, and piped the strings on with royal icing.
The cupcakes, though you can't see them very well, had rice paper decorations with pictures of Hannah on them, "Happy Birthday" and my daughter's name.
This homemade Hannah Montana guitar cake took me about 8 or 9 hours in total. It was one of my first projects before I really got into the decorating.
