Homemade Hannah Montana Guitar Cake
I made this Hannah Montana Guitar Cake for my daughter Haley's 6th Birthday. She absolutely loves Hannah Montana. I have never made her cake, I have always bought them and wanted to do something special for her. I used the Guitar Cake Mold. I stenciled the letters by hand and made Marshmallow Fondant, it tastes much better than the stuff you buy.
I cut out the letters, rolled them in edible purple and gold glitter dust and set them aside. I made whipped vanilla icing and tinted with Hannah Montana cake coloring in rose pink. I used chocolate icing for the wooden looking part under the strings then used black glitter gel. I used white glitter gel for the guitar strings. I then placed the letters onto the cake and placed in the fridge for 3 days until the party.
This is my very first custom cake I made and enjoyed it so much that I have decided to start my business in making custom cakes. Check out my Hula Girl Cake also.
