Homemade Hazardous Skull Birthday Cake
I made this Hazardous Skull Birthday Cake for my daughter's 25th birthday. I always teased her about turning a quarter of a century old, so I wanted a toxic cake for her. I used a half sheet cake 2 inch pan. I had an edible wafer made of a toxic skull. Since the cake was toxic I used the warning colors to make the cake pop.
I put sayings on the cake to make the cake look like aging could be hazardous. Along the sides of the cake I used yellow frosting to make caution tape. I wrote CAUTION going all around the side of the cake. I used to colored frosting to make little confetti strands on top of the cake. I outlined the top of with cake with black and the bottom with red colored frosting to make the entire cake stand out so it would look like a warning label.
