This Hello Kitty Birthday Cake was pretty simple to make for my niece’s 7th birthday. We started with a rectangular cake (from a mix). I free-handed the shape of Hello Kitty’s head with a knife and ended up with four small corners from the rectangular cake that were not needed.
We iced it, used large black jelly beans for the eyes, a small jelly bean cut in half for the nose, black licorice for the whiskers and fashioned flowers from jelly beans. Simple and the kids loved it!!
