Google hello kitty coloring page to get the desired inspiration. For the background frosting, tint Wilton brand frosting with gel coloring, microwave it on low in a glass measuring cup, stopping every few seconds to stir until it was runny enough to pour.

Pour the blue "sky" on the top half making sure to run down the sides. With a metal spatula quickly smooth the side to cover any bare spots & spread the horizon into the desired shape. Repeat with green frosting for the grass. Let frosting set until a slight crust forms.

Cut out Hello Kitty's outline to use as a "stencil" if free hand is so much for you. Make black Color Flow Icing using the Wilton recipe on their meringue powder. Draw or trace all the black outlines onto you cake using a small round tip or a zip lock bag with a corner snipped off, also do her nose now. Let dry 1-2 hours.

Make a thinner/runnier white, pink, & orange royal icing to fill her silhouette. (I didn't make mine thin enough so you can see where I had to use a metal spatula to try to spread the icing). Embellish the landscape with flowers, grass, bugs, clouds, & make dots around the base using the extra frosting.
