This Hello Kitty Birthday Cake Idea was made for my friend’s daughter’s 1st birthday. I cut out this cake with a template of Hello Kitty. I used buttercream frosting and fondant. I cut small strips for the black whiskers and also used the bottom of the cake tip to make the eyes and nose.
I used Wilton rose color food coloring for the bow and obviously black and yellow food coloring for nose/ whiskers. I cut out the “1” and used a edible glitter. I enjoyed making this cake. It was a little easier then some of my previous cakes and it turned out well.
