I made this Hello Kitty Cake for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. She is really into Hello Kitty for the moment so she really insisted to make that for her. I went through a lot of photos that I found on the internet and I must say that this page was really inspirational. In the end I came up with this design. Everyone was amazed of how wonderful it turned out.
As for the cake, my girl is a very picky eater so I had to make a recipe that I knew she would actually eat. I made both the layers and the fillings with chocolate flavor.
The layers are baked in a rectangular sheet and then shaped according to a drawing that I downloaded from the web. I decorated the cake with whipped cream; I only added colorings to it to achieve the desired colors.
