This Hello Kitty cake made with homemade marshmallow fondant. It tasted great and wasn’t too hard to use. Hello Kitty was made with a Wilton Hello Kitty pan, and she was placed on top of a 2 layer half sheet cake. I frosted heavily and let the frosting set before applying the fondant.
Whiskers were made from black Twizzlers, eyes were just black jelly beans, and nose was a pink jelly bean. I outlined the bow with black frosting, then filled it in with a star tip and added pink sparkles to the bow to give it a little more bling.
Polka dots and letters were made with brown fondant (I have the Wilton fondant letter cutters). For the polka dots I just used the back end of a star tip.
