Homemade Hello Kitty Cake
My daughter loves Hello Kitty and wanted a Hello Kitty cake for her 4th birthday. I searched this website and got a number of ideas. This cake was actually fairly simple to make.
I made a 1/4 sheet cake, frosted it with white frosting and placed it in the refrigerator to harden. I cut out a large picture of HK's head as the template. I placed it on the cake and gently traced around the head. I used shoe string licorice to shape the face and bow.
I then used the star tip to add dimension to Kitty's face. I used jelly beans for eyes and the nose. It was fun and easy!
