My girls birthdays are just a week apart and are close to Halloween so they requested a Halloween cake for their birthday. I made a two tiered cake and covered with buttercream then topped with marshmallow fondant. Hello Kitty is a favorite character of theirs so I took a coloring book page I found on the internet and cut out each piece individually then cut a piece of fondant to match that piece.
I also made the investment of purchasing the fondant letter cutters with my 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby and I’m so glad I finally bought them because it made the world of difference in the Hello Kitty Halloween Cake.
