Homemade Baby Ducks Cake
I used a two layer 8 inch cake for this Homemade Baby Ducks Cake. First I iced it with a little buttercream then I covered it with strips of fondant. To get the wood grain affect I used 2 different brown colors of fondant, light brown and dark brown, then I just combined those 2 colors into a ball until they began to look marbled.
I used piping gel colored with blue food paste for the water. The ducks and bubbles were made from fondant.
