Homemade Belle Birthday Cake
I made this Belle birthday cake for my friend's daughter's birthday and I think it turned out great. I have only used fondant once before and decided to give it another try on this cake. I learned a lot while making this and, next time, hope to be a better dress designer with sugar!
I iced the cake at first with a bit darker yellow icing than desired so that, when overlaying the fondant, which turned out lighter than planned, the correct color was achieved.
I used the Wilton cake pan and the real Belle Barbie for the authentic look.
