Coolest Homemade Birthday Corset Cake

by Candace
(Landover, MD)

This corset is made out of regular buttercream with a strawberry filling. It serves 40 people. It is made from a 12x18 pan and two half ball cups. It took about 3 to 4 hours to complete. I got so many compliments on this cake.

I used a peice of card board first and drew the corset on it. I then froze the layers of the 12x18 for one day so it could be firm enough to cut. I then placed the cardboard on the cake and cut the cake to the shape of the cardboard.
Then I put a thin layer of icing down then started to design it.

Use your imagination and this cake can never go wrong.
