Homemade Castle Birthday Cake

Homemade Castle Birthday Cake

My twin nieces requested a Homemade Castle Birthday Cake. I used 2-8x8 squares, 1 6 inch round and I used cupcakes on the corners. If I ever do this cake again though, I will bake and extra layer and cut out the circles for the corners because it was hard making the cupcakes stay.

I had to use lots of toothpicks to keep them from separating from the body of the cake.

I was there, and it looked even better in person! And I'm not the least bit biased just because I got to eat one of the towers;-)
