Homemade Flamingo Birthday Cake

This Homemade Flamingo Birthday Cake is my test-run for my baby girl's 1st birthday coming up in a couple of months. I have never decorated a cake before so I thought I should practice, but I think it came out pretty darn good!

I used butter cream frosting for the base, then used tubes of store bought frosting to draw on the flamingo, and a leaf tip to create the "feathers" on the edges.

I had so much fun making this cake, I think I have a new hobby now!!

This is a gorgeous cake! The colors are so vibrant and everything is so smooth and perfect! This would be fantastic even if it weren't your first. Definitely keep this as a hobby!
