Homemade Greyskull from Masters of the Universe Cake
This Homemade Greyskull from Masters of the Universe Cake was asked for my friend's 30yrs old son, who loved Greyskull. I had a few problems with He Man, I've since conquered the art of modelling fondant adding tylose to the fondant to stiffing it.
The cake is four layers of 8" buttercream. I made the skull from grey fondant, laid it down to set and painted it with colouring. I then made cereal treats, put a bag of marshmallows, 2oz butter, vanilla extract, tsp of honey into microwave for a few minutes until melted, then added rice crispies into mix. It looks very sticky at first, you can let this cool in fridge and shape it into any shape. I just covered greyskull in it to give a rugged look the painted it.
He loved it.
