Myself and my partner started making cakes together a while ago and have made many birthday ones and a new baby one but this is our first wedding cake :) was for a friend as a gift and she was over the moon as was the groom.
Made the ribbons myself and painted on flowers around middle tier using silver balls for the center, and used lilac hearts around middle tier and silver around top. Topper matched exact to wedding invite :).
The Bottom Tier is Fruit cake, Middle Tier is choc sponge with choc fudge and top Tier is lemon sponge with lemon buttercream
