My son goes nuts when he sees hot air balloons, he will often repeat over and over “hot air balloon, hot air balloon” and when we asked his big brother what sort of cake we should make he said that Felix would like a Hot Air Balloon Cake. I looked on the internet and found some ideas but none that I really liked, so this is my own creation inspired by some pic I saw.
It’s a basic butter cream with sultanas packet mix cake. It’s my first attempt at using fondant icing and Im really chuffed with the result.
