Homemade Hot and Pregnant Mama Cake

I made this Hot and Pregnant Mama Cake for a coworker who likes to salsa dance. I would like to say this cake came with a lot of first. This was my first attempt at a any shaped cake; first time using a the dome shaped doll cake mold, I modified the shape for the belly; first time I used fondant, first time I made fondant( using a marshmallow fondant recipe). I used two stacked cupcakes for the bust area.

I think it turned out pretty well for my first try. I found the hardest thing about making the cake was shaping and connecting the bust with the belly. Icing help a great deal with that. My advice is if you can bake a cake with success you can make this cake too. I think next time I will add filling between the layers of the belly for depth of flavor.
