Homemade Hula Girl Birthday Cake
I actually got the idea for this Hula Girl Birthday Cake from this website. My 7 year old daughter wanted to have a luau birthday party.
The large glass mixing bowl from pampered chef worked well, but still wasn't tall enough to look proportional with Barbie's body, so I made another cake for the bottom. This also worked out well because it served as a shelf for all the flowers and a good starting block for cutting the pieces to be served.
We all know the icing is the best part and the kids all want a piece with a lot of flowers, so I went all the way around with lots of flowers to save from any arguing!
