Homemade Iggle Piggle Cake
I decided to make this Iggle Piggle cake for my son's first birthday as he loves watching In the Night Garden.
I used a basic sponge slab and traced around a picture of Iggle Piggle with a knife to make the cake an Iggle Piggle shape. I used butter icing (butter, icing sugar and a little milk) for the frosting and divided it to colour just over half of it blue (for his body) and the rest red for his blanket and hair. I just used a knife to apply to icing.
White chocolate drops were used for the eyes, and black icing gel (bought from the supermarket) were used for the outlining and the mouth, nose and pupils.
It is only the third cake I have decorated but everyone loved it.
