This In The Night Garden Birthday Cake was for my daughter’s 1st birthday. We were unable to find a cake we liked so decided to give it a go ourselves. We made the sponge cake with jam and cream and used green icing round the cake to make the grass.
We then draw the character on very thin icing sheet and painting them. We then laid that on top and added some more smaller details on the grass. The hardest part was writing the wording at the bottom. That took me many attempts.
