Homemade In the Night Garden Cake
My 2 year old loves 'In the Night Garden' so for her 2nd birthday party I decided to do both Upsy Daisy and Iggle Piggle for her as she loves both. It was such a big hit with the kids and adults too!
Upsy Daisy was a choc mud cake just cut to shape and decorated with fresh cream, icing and choc which I decorated to suit the characters. Iggle Piggle was a raspberry swirl cake, decorated with fresh cream and icing, that I coloured according to the characters. These cakes only took about 1 hr to decorate and I got the shapes from a print out on the bbc website.
This site has so many cartoons to choose from, for one thought - this cake turned out great and in no time at all either. I hope this homemade In the Night Garden cake inspires others to give something like this a go.
Good luck...
