My cousin’s wife had a surprise 30th birthday party for him. He and his brothers have always been into Jeeping… she asked me to make him a cake. She said “Just make something JEEP” that was it.. and this is what I came up with. I put A LOT of thought into this as I was afraid a Jeep cake would end up looking too much like a little boys cake. I think it turned out pretty well.
This homemade Jeep cake is a 2 tier 10-inch round… covered in fondant and chocolate rock candies. The trees are made from fondant as well as the cute little snails (which you cannot see well in this photo). The Jeep logo I printed from Google images and stenciled onto rolled out fondant and cut the pieces out and placed on top.
The grass and vines are made from buttercream. The jeep, of course, it a small toy. I started taking classes at JoAnns last fall through Wilton. I LOVE doing this, and hope to one day make a business out of it. Hope you enjoy the photo! :)
