My son was turning 14, and he loves basketball and loves the Knicks. Both cakes were half yellow and chocolate. For the jersey I used a 13×9 cake pan. I used store brought icing and sprayed the cake with Wilton blue spray. I did dye some icing orange for my border and the number 14.
For the basketball I got a circle pot that can be put in the oven, it came out a perfect circle. I iced the ball then sprayed it with Wilton orange spray. Then did the lines with black icing.
My son was so happy with this Homemade Jersey Basketball Cake.
