I had a request to make a John Deere Tractor Cake for a little boy’s 2nd birthday but they needed it to feed several people so I used the tractor cake pan and placed it on top of a full sheet cake. I used butter cream icing to ice the sheet cake to look like a field scene. I used the star tip and grass tip to finish off the tractor.
I made brown “sticks” and piped some white around them to make the cotton in the middle of the field. Tried to make it look like it was in the distance.
I had a lot of fun making this cake – worst part is waiting for the cakes to cool so I could get started.
