Ladybug Cake

This ladybug cake was really easy to make. I used Wilton's soccer ball cake to make the bodies, black licorice for antennas and to split the body. It took a lot of red dye to get the right color.

For the grass I dyed coconut with green food coloring and added Oreos to the body for spots. For the flower I used a heart shaped cup cake mold and put three of the together with green licorice for the stem. I also used the heart shape mold for the faces.

I did this for my three year old's birthday, it was a big hit.
