Homemade Ladybug Birthday Cake

This Ladybug Birthday Cake is my first attempt at making a ladybug cake. Kalyn's 1st Birthday is in October and I decided to do a trial run. I found the marshmallow fondant easy and fun to work with. The fondant tastes good and kept the strawberry cake moist and delicious.

Kalyn is one of three of my grandchildren. Bella's birthday is going to be a Barbie theme and Jahsim's theme is going to be monkey's. So I will be looking for ideas. Can't wait! My thinking cap is on and ready. This will be my way of making my grandchildren's birthdays special from grandma, Magra (that's what they call me). Thanks for all of the ideas found on this website!!
