Homemade Ladybug Birthday Cake Idea
My four year-old wanted a ladybug cake. Her favorite colors are purple, orange, red, and pink. She wanted her cake to be those colors. And she wanted the ladybug to have pink heart-shaped spots. She knows what she likes and I came up with this Ladybug Birthday Cake Idea!
For the face I used hard life saver breath mints and m&ms for the eyes. Then added black licorice shoestring for eyelashes. The heart-shaped spots are made from melting chocolate candies.
