Homemade Ladybug Cake

Homemade Ladybug Cake

For this homemade ladybug cake I used a two layer devils food cake with a vanilla filling. I froze the cakes overnight. The icing is buttercream that I tinted with food coloring. I simply drew the ladybug on top using red icing for the body and black for the head. The spots are Oreo cakesters that I split in half and then put icing flowers on top. The eyes are white icing with m&ms for the eyes. A little green icing along the bottom for grass and it's done! Super easy and very cute!
