Homemade Ladybug Homemade Cake

This ladybug homemade cake is fairly easy... I used a 10" cake round pan, and made two round cakes and put them together, then I made another 10" round cake and cut out a little circle for the head, I cooled it in the fridge to make it easier to sculpt, using a knife cut the outside edges enough to make it look like a dome. I used a white frosting to just use as the base, put it back in the fridge, meanwhile doing the same for the head, I made a simple buttercream frosting, and used food coloring..

After frosting the dome red, and putting the spots on, I frosted the head and put the face on, let it cool in the fridge and after a few minutes, I propped it up to the dome cake and used black pipe cleaners for the antenna's.
