I made this LEGO cake for a friend’s son. I started with a sheet cake I made and frosted it white. For the LEGOS, I used some small rectangle pans I had. You could just make another sheet cake and cut it into small rectangles yourself. I frosted them in the colors of red, green, white, and blue.
For the “bumps,” I cut large marshmallows in half. The easiest way to frost these was to microwave the frosting until it was a thick liquid and then pour over the marshmallows. Once the frosting was “set,” I just used some regular frosting to attach them to the base. I then placed the “LEGOS” on top of and around the cake.
The boys at the party all wanted to eat the LEGOS, so the adults took part in eating the sheet cake. Everyone loved it!
