Homemade Lego Bricks Birthday Cake
This Lego Bricks Birthday Cake was based on the Betty Crocker formula. I used boxed cake mix-two different flavors. I used a 9x9 pan for the center cake. I made two layers and cut the edges to a square with a knife. The smaller bricks were made with a mini loaf pan. They made perfect servings for the kids as is, so I didn't cut them down to square the edges.
The Lego nubs are jumbo marshmallows halved. I used food coloring to enhance cream cheese frosting, it took a lot to get bold colors. The kids loved it and the parents were all impressed, too.
