Homemade Lightning McQueen Birthday Cake
My son LOVES the movie "Cars" so I decided to try to make him a Lightning McQueen Birthday Cake. This is the first time that I have ever attempted something like this. After applying all the frosting, my hands were killing me!!
I made it by using 2 full size cakes and stacking them. I carved the car as best as I could. I had to use some toothpicks to hold up the spoiler but you couldn't see them as I tried hiding them within the cake. I used the tops of 4 cupcakes for the tires.
