Homemade Lightning Mcqueen Cake
I made this Lightning Mcqueen Cake for my son Rehaan's second birthday. He loves Cars and this car especially. So we decided on having a race car party and I decided to bake a red velvet cake to match the color of the cake. There were almost 50 people invited for the party. So I made 4 medium rectangular cakes and 1 large rectangular cake. I made it a day prior and refrigerated it wrapping it in a clinch paper. Then we arranged it with the large one down and the others on top.
I cut the top ones and shaped it like a Mcqueen cake. We then covered it with red whipping cream. Used four Oreo cookies as wheels. Sketched out the other details using icing writing pens.
