Homemade Lobster Birthday Cake

My son Audie loves lobsters, so for his 9th birthday i decided to make him a Lobster Birthday Cake. I used regular box cake and Wilton's recipe for buttercream frosting. I made several rectangular cakes, circular cakes, and cupcakes, and cut out shapes for the lobsters body, arms, tail, head and eyes by hand.

We were new in town and my son was going to a new school so I wanted to share his birthday with his new classmates. This cake turned out to be about 3.5 feet long, and only half was eaten by the class. I used 3 different types of cake, just in case any children were allergic to a certain type of cake/flavor.
