Homemade Lovely Ladybug Cake
This Lovely Ladybug Cake is a 3 tier cake with a lady bug on top made out of cake as well. I used the following 10", 8", and 6" round pans for the layers. The ladybug's body was made with an oven safe glass oval dish made by anchor cookware.
I frosted layers smooth with frosting, ladybug was star-tipped and the red dots on the cake are made from fondant. The leaves, googley eyes and antennas are all just decoration added. This cake was a big hit at the party. My 9 year old daughter loved it! Hope you enjoy the pictures and good luck making your own ladybug cake!
