Homemade LSU Football Cake Design

A co-worker requested a LSU football cake and this LSU Football Cake Design is my attempt at it. I used butter cream icing smoothed with a viva paper towel on a 1/2 sheet cake and the helmet was cut from a 6" round cake.

I found a clip art image and printed it to the size of the helmet to use as a template. I am not steady with straight lines or writing and if you have tips on how to improve on that I welcome any words of advice.
