I made this Luau Birthday Cake for my niece’s birthday. Sadly she can only share it in Facebook because she is in the Philippines.
It’s a mud cake iced with buttercream. The tree house cake is a 2 6″ cake put together and cut the sides to achieve the look of a house. The tree trunk is a kitchen towel tube covered with fondant. Branches as well as the rocks in the pond are fondant. The mushrooms are piped meringues.
