This cake was for a friend’s eighth birthday. I took 14 inch coma cake for the island on a blue cake board. I took the giant cupcake for the hut. The hut roof was made of shredded wheat. I took crushed vanilla cookies for the sand. The rocks were candy covered chocolate. The palm trees were drink umbrellas. The flip flops were the candles.
I had so much fun making this homemade Luau island cake and it was a hit at the party!
This cake is very cute … I have been trying to find a cake for my niece’s b-day, this might just be the idea I will use. i love it! 2 cute.
