Homemade Mater Birthday Cake
I made this Mater Birthday Cake for my nephew and he loved it. I make the buttercream frosting and marshmallow fondant from scratch. Mater is driving on a road made with chocolate and vanilla cake with buttercream frosting. The sand next to the road is made from crushed graham crackers and the road is made from marshmallow fondant colored black with food coloring.
Everything on Mater can be eaten. I painted him with food coloring and used Kit Kat bars and red licorice for the rigging. He was so much fun to make!
