Homemade Mater cake

I got this idea for a Mater cake from another submission on your page but I put my own twist on it. I did not do any carving. I used 3 cake mixes which was made in 2 8x11 pans and 3 loaf pans. I positioned the cakes to form the tow-truck and used 1 box of Little Debbie's rolls to position the cake.

The mirrors were made from vanilla wafer cookies and the lights were candy corn. The yellow light on top was a gum drop and the bumper made from pieces of yellow and black jubes. I used mini doughnuts to prop up the cake and for the wheels. The icing was butter icing that I piped with a piping bag.

My son did not want anyone to eat this cake but we bribed him by saying that we will blow up a photo for his wall. This cake was too much for the 8 adults and 4 children that were at the party.
