Coolest Me to You Valentine Cake 24

Homemade Me to You Valentine Cake
To make this Me to You Valentine Cake I needed to bake a 10" square pound cake and then cut it into pieces to form a sofa. I spread a layer of buttercream on each piece and covered it in pink fondant.
After assembling the sofa cake I made some little hearts cut outs with some red fondant and scattered them over the sofa. I also made a thin rope out of the pink fondant and placed it all around the sofa.
Now that the sofa was ready I started to make the Me to You teddy bears. I placed two balls of grey fondant on top of each other and also formed two ears, hands and legs. After sticking all the parts of the bears together, I made some royal icing and coloured it light grey. With the help of a small knife I laid a layer of icing onto the bears and formed the soft peaks with the tip of the knife in order to create the ruffled coat of the bears.
Before the royal icing hardened I made the muzzle of the bears with a tiny circle of white fondant and did their noses out of some blue fondant.
I placed 2 very tiny balls of black fondant for their eyes and placed the bears on the sofa cake.
I made a scroll with some white fondant and wrote a birthday message on it and placed it on the cake as if the bears were holding it.
Finally I put some coloured sugar flowers all over the cake and did some red fondant cushions.
