Coolest Merry Go Round Cake 19

Homemade Merry Go Round Cake
I had seen an idea for a merry-go-round cake in a magazine, and since my daughter loved to ride the "up and down", I made this cake for her second birthday.
It's 2 round cakes stacked and frosted, topped with rainbow sprinkles. The merry-go-round posts are rainbow candy sticks I found at a candy store. (I also included one in each party favor bag.) I attached animal crackers at different heights using frosting. The "lid" is made of paper and decorated with foamie stickers. I didn't attach it to the candy sticks so it could be removed before lighting the candle.
We placed the cake on a lazy Susan so it actually went around!
