Homemade Minnie Mouse Cake
Making this homemade Minnie Mouse cake was easier than you think. Begin by using a 12 inch round for face and 4 inch rounds for ears. Baking in a 12 inch pan 3 inches deep will require a decrease in the baking temp to 325 degrees. Trim the 4 inch rounds so they snugly fit together to the 12 inch creating the ears.
For the frosting I started with milk chocolate frosting and added black food die. This made a perfect color for the ears. For the flesh color I took white frosting and added just a touch of milk chocolate frosting and a touch of yellow food coloring until I got the perfect flesh coloring. Outlining the facial features with the black food coloring made it really easy to fill in the rest. If I can do this, so can you.
