Homemade Minnie Mouse Homemade Cake
I was asked to make a Minnie Mouse homemade cake for a lovely 2 year old little girl. Her mother (my client) gave me two pictures to work with that she found online, and requested a similar cake, but with hot pink icing or fondant. I decided to do a 3 tier cake (the 3rd tier is actually a rice cereal treat) made from homemade pound cake, covered in homemade butter cream icing and then homemade MMF.
The ears are made out of fondant, which I let dry overnight. I used a drinking glass to cut the circular shape and then pressed two cut-outs together, fused with edible glue, and put a lollipop stick in between the two layers. They were easily inserted into the rice cereal treat cake topper.
The Minnie Mouse homemade cake was relatively straight forward to make and my client was thrilled with the results.
